We design learning experiences that empower young people to become social innovators.
UpstartED is a Canadian nonprofit that equips students between the ages of 12 to 18 with the technological, social and emotional, and 21st century skills required to succeed in a complex future as social innovators. We believe there is no such thing as "too young" when it comes to changing the world.
We work with forward-thinking institutions to launch programs that range from in-classroom workshops to semester-long incubators and summer camps in which students engage with innovation practices used by the leading organizations and companies in the world.
The learning experiences we design are immersive, forward-thinking, and ultimately transformational.
You could say we have some fans. Here's what one of them has to say.
"Getting involved with UpstartED's social innovation programs was the best decision I made as a student.
From the design thinking activity, to building a business plan, to the rush of adrenaline when we stepped on the stage to pitch our tech-oriented solution, I learned so many invaluable skills and concepts."
